Module 2.1

Energy Policy and Regulation
The ability to understand and interpret local, national, and EU-level energy policies, carbon pricing mechanisms, and grid connection rules that impact decentralized energy projects.

Module 2.2

Project financing and economic analysis
Competency in developing financial models, assessing economic feasibility, and securing funding for energy projects through various mechanisms like loans, equity investment, and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).

Module 2.3

Grant and incentive programs
Knowledge of available public and private grants, subsidies, and tax incentives for renewable energy and efficiency projects, and the ability to navigate the application processes successfully.

Module 2.4

Risk assessment and mitigation
The ability to identify, analyze, and develop strategies to mitigate technical, financial, regulatory, and social risks associated with long-term energy projects.
