Energy Circle Videos Course

Welcome to the eRural Resilience Video Course. This training introduces the Competency Profile designed for business promotion bodies and local authorities supporting the transition of bio-businesses into e-bio-businesses.

Through a series of video modules—Business and Management, Digital Know-How, Biological Production and Sustainability, and Networking—you will explore the 15 key competencies needed to foster digitalisation, sustainability, and resilience in rural areas.

Module 1

Energy technology and systems integration

This module introduces the technologies used to produce, convert, store, and distribute energy, while emphasizing how different energy systems work together within modern energy networks.

Module 2

Policy, finance and regulatory frameworks

This module examines how government policies, financial mechanisms, and regulatory structures shape the development, deployment, and operation of energy systems. It provides an understanding of the economic and institutional factors that drive the energy transition.

Module 3

Community and Stakeholder Management

This module focuses on engaging communities, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring that energy projects are developed in a socially responsible, inclusive, and sustainable manner. Effective stakeholder management is critical for gaining public acceptance, minimizing conflicts, and achieving long-term project success.
